A round wooden serving platter can be many things…

Of course it can be a wooden serving platter, but if you’re creative with colourful resin, it can also become a piece of art to hang on the wall.  With a drill and a mechanism from eBay, your serving platter could even become a clock – but I’ll have to tell you about that in a future post.

The beach look

Take a look at this blue resin art serving platter.  I’ve tried to make the mix of blues and white look like the ocean, and left a gap at one section of the edge for the timber to represent the beach.
