resin unicorn

You might have seen pictures elsewhere on this site of me holding this serving tray, so I thought I should tell you a little bit about it.

I actually made this while taking part in a resin art class earlier this year.  We started out with a plain wooden serving tray and poured in a layer of white resin.

Orange and purple resins were then poured length ways along the serving tray.  Using a heat gun, I spread the colours around until I was happy with the patterns formed.

As the resin dried, it developed into the finished product you see here.  What do you think?
